This Bertram 37 Express is a solid boat from the 80s, in good overall condition. 11.28 meters long and built in fiberglass, it is a perfect example of the typical robustness of the Bertram shipyard, famous for boats capable of tackling rough seas thanks to its deep-V hull. The Express version, less common than the Convertible with flybridge, offers a more open design, ideal for fishing and outdoor life.
The cockpit is large, covered in teak, and equipped with comfortable padded seats, storage lockers, an oversized stern platform with integrated gangway. Going down to the cabin we find a "C" shaped dinette on the left, with blue fabric cushions and a wooden table with inlays. The area can be converted into an additional bed. The kitchen is simple but functional, with sink, stove, refrigerator, shelves and storage compartments.
In the bow is the owner's cabin with a V-shaped double bed, side windows and lockers. The walls are covered in fabric and the area is well lit by natural light. The bathroom, located amidships, is equipped with a marine toilet, sink and shower. The electrical system is accessible and well organized in the upper part of the dinette.
The materials show normal signs of aging, but overall the interiors are habitable and functional. Some aesthetic renovation interventions can further enhance the environment.
