The Grand Banks 42 Europa is one of the most iconic and appreciated yachts on the international yachting scene. With an overall length of 13.18 meters and a width of 4.30 meters, it offers generous space both on deck and in the interior. The Europa version, in particular, is much loved for its protected cockpit and large flybridge, ideal for experiencing the sea in every season.
The semi-displacement hull guarantees stable and safe navigation even in rough seas. Fuel consumption is extremely low in displacement mode, with cruising speeds between 8 and 10 knots and peaks of up to 15 knots. The 2 Caterpillar 315 HP engines have been the subject of a lot of attention, in 2018 the starboard engine was replaced with a new one while the left one was brought to zero hours.
With 1,560 units produced, the Grand Banks 42 has become a true "lady of the sea", loved all over the world for its reliability, habitability and for that unmistakable nautical charm that still conquers every enthusiast today.
The interiors of the Grand Banks 42 express warmth, solidity and class, with solid teak wood finishes that give any room a welcoming and timeless atmosphere. Every detail, from the brass hardware to the marine-style moldings, reflects a nautical tradition that has made this boat famous. with a queen-size bed equipped with a second bathroom and a cabin in the bow making the boat ideal for longer stays as well. The bathrooms are complete, with electric toilets, separate shower and neat finishes.
